Repair and maintenance of centrifugal fan
Correct maintenance is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of centrifugal fan and the improvement of the service life of centrifugal fan. Therefore, we must pay full attention to the use of centrifugal fans.
1. Maintenance of bearing
Frequently check the oil supply of the bearing lubricating oil. If there is oil leakage in the box, you can tighten the bolts of the end cover a little bit. If this is not enough, you may have to replace it with a new seal packing.
2. Maintenance of other supporting equipment
For the maintenance of various supporting equipment including motors, electric actuators, instruments and meters, please refer to their respective operating instructions. These operating instructions are provided by various supporting manufacturers, and SIMO Blower will provide these instructions to users.
3. Maintenance when centrifugal fan is out of use
When the fan is out of use, when the temperature is lower than 5°C, the remaining water in the equipment and pipelines should be discharged to avoid freezing the equipment and pipelines.
4. Maintenance work when centrifugal fan is out of service for a long time
(1) Coat the surface of bearings and other main parts with anti-rust oil to avoid corrosion.
(2) Every half month or so, the rotor of the fan should be manually moved for half a rotation (that is, 180°). Before moving, mark the end of the shaft so that the uppermost point is at the bottom after moving the rotor.
1. What parameters need to be provided when you design the industrial centrifugal fans?
Answers: Air flow, total pressure or static pressure, inlet temperature, local voltage and frequency, Altitude etc.
If there is flammable and explosive gas, or big dust loading in the medium, please also inform the designer.
